Ship repair expertise, brought together on one site
A vessel’s technical stop can involve an engine overhaul, hull repairs, new coatings or equipment opened for inspection. Each operation has its own requirements; organising how they fit together is part of the work.
At Martinique Shipyard, our teams and specialist partners support maintenance, repair and refit projects in dry dock and afloat alongside the quay. For projects involving several trades, a dedicated project manager coordinates the work and acts as the main point of contact for the shipowner and crew.
1. Repair & Maintenance
Scheduled maintenance and corrective repairs, bringing together the trades required for your vessel’s technical stop, in dry dock or afloat.

2. Refit
Equipment upgrades, system modifications and refurbishment works, coordinated according to the vessel’s condition and the agreed scope.
3. Mechanical
Diagnostics, maintenance, repairs and overhauls for engines, propulsion systems and auxiliary equipment, supported by our 750 m² mechanical workshop on site.

4. Hull & Steel
Hull plating renewal, structural repairs, reinforcement and welding on steel and aluminium vessels, in collaboration with our qualified partner ESTC.
5. Painting & Coatings
Surface preparation, protective coatings and antifouling, in collaboration with SIPA. Works cover underwater hull areas, topsides, decks and superstructures, including areas requiring access at height.

6. Electrical
Electrical fault finding, insulation resistance testing, maintenance and repairs, coordinated with mechanical works and specialist expertise where required.
7. Carpentry & Interiors
Support in planning and coordinating interior repairs, carpentry and refurbishment, with the expertise and resources assessed for each project.

8. Class Surveys
Vessel preparation, equipment opening and technical support for class surveys, with any resulting repairs coordinated with the shipowner, crew and classification society.
9. Emergency Repairs
Technical assessment and coordination of unplanned repairs, bringing together the trades, facilities and logistics support required for the intervention.

The facilities behind the work
A 200 m dry dock, 350 m of berth and a 750 m² mechanical workshop support the different stages of your vessel’s yard stay, together with lifting and handling resources.
Send us your vessel specifications, preferred dates and scope of work. Our team will review your requirements and discuss how the works can be organised.
